Tom is a graduate of Stetson University and the Pace University School of Law with additional legal studies in International Law at Brussels, Belgium and The Hague, Netherlands. Before being named President / CEO of BIPEC, Tom served as Vice President for Governmental Relations with the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce. Tom has also worked on two congressional staffs of the US Congress, as Counsel to the Chairman of the US International Trade Commission, and as a marketing and sales executive with Pepsi and Frito-Lay. He is a member of the New York Bar Association.

Danny Crook
Director of Legislative and Political Analysis

Prior to rejoining SC BIPEC, Danny managed a
construction firm in North Carolina.
Danny has also worked for North Carolina Forum for Research and
Economic Education (NCFREE) in Raleigh, North Carolina as the Director of
Research and Education. Danny is a graduate of NC State University where he
received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
Blake A. Woodward

Blake is a graduate of West Virginia University where he received a Bachelor of Arts with emphasis on Political Science, History and Entrepreneurship. Prior to joining SC BIPEC, Blake worked in Donor Relations with the Lexington Medical Center Foundation. Blake has also worked as a Business Development Intern for Pace Enterprises, Inc. Blake is an active member of the Columbia Fencing Club, the Lexington Young Professionals and Shandon Baptist Church. In his free time, Blake enjoys reading histories, mastering the art of Italian cuisine and exploring nature.
