Annual Meetings

SC BIPEC’s Annual Meeting marks the beginning of a year of opportunities for business and industry in with the start of each legislative session. BIPEC has a history of memorable debates including BIPEC I and BIPEC II, our Presidential Debates for 1996 and 2000, respectively, and the BIPEC US Senate Debate held in 2004. The 2010 BIPEC Gubernatorial Debates and Congressional Agenda Debate were no exception as gubernatorial candidates in the Democratic and Republican primaries met to debate issues of great importance to South Carolina’s business and industry community and United States Senate candidates debate the congressional agenda as it affects the private sector.
